This Toyota has been needing a DPF burn off about every 300 miles or it will go into limp mode.
The main agent has been looking at it and has replaced the the DPF and the DPF sensor but with no luck, and now it has landed at my door.
I haven't had much of a chance to look at it yet, this is more of a fishing trip!
I have scanned it with no codes, checked for vacuum leaks with Smoke-Pro, checked for fuel contamination and am not sure where to go from here.
From my understanding the need to do a burn off is when the DPF has restricted flow and the ECU forces a burn of. However, this vehicle does not seem to have symptoms of a sooty/smokey exhaust which would cause 'dirty' running.
Any help would be great, I apologies for the lack of info at this point.
Regards
Simon
