Hi Lads,
I had the above towed in this morning as a non started,its turning over like a sewing machine and has a cam sensor fault code.
I presumed it had snapped the timing belt but as i stripped i found more problems.
The camshaft pulley retaining bolt is broken,the cam pulley did not fall off and the key way is not damaged, so the jeep should have started.
I removed the cam sensor and as i turn the engine the cam belt and pulley are turning but the camshaft back at the sensor is not.
My question,has anyone seen this before or have any suggestions for the fault.
It only has 54k on the clock,full service history and last sertviced about 4 months ago.
