The radio module is kept umder the spare wheel in the well in the boot in these (beside the battery). The boot has flooded due to tail light leak. I think its a great designnot.

The unit was sent to be repaired and came back as unrepairable.
My question is are the coded to the vehicle or after buying one will i still need to code it??

P.S who in their right mind would design a 4x4 with several modules not only below the spare wheel well but also beside the battery so the acidic venting of the battery rots the electrics if the dog dont pee in the boot first!
