I have this vehicle in with DPF issues @ 120K.
Due to cost The customer is thinking about DPF removal.
I've removed petrol catalysts on pre-91' cars in the past simply by cutting open the cat casing, removing the catalyst and welding it back up again! - even on my own BMW M5 with no detrimental effects to the car.
What are your thoughts on this type of DPF removal?
Has anyone done it and with what side effects?
Alternatively has anyone tried cleaning out the DPF once removed?
