Be careful with DPF removal reprogramming.
Some software justs masks the fault codes, but also masks other codes at the same time.

Had a BMW 5 series recently dropping into limp but putting no codes up a couple of months after DPF removal programming. Re-flashed to correct software and fault codes were revealed relating to a turbo fault.

Had a call from another 5 series owner last week in the same position, dropping into limp but no EML, he had borrowed the money to have DPF removal done! He is now saving up for me to have a look at it.

Far better to clean/replace the DPF and fix the cause of the problem.
