can anyone tell which glow plug adaptor we need for this engine. its not in a sealey VSE204.v3 kit
we want to do a compression check as the engine will not start and has not done so for nearly 3 years. customer has had the vehicle in another garage for this amount of time and has now got fed up with the lack of progress.
it will try and start but with loads of black smoke as if it is over fuelling. with the fuel system disconnected it will not even start on brake cleaner hence our desire to check basics etc. new timing chain etc and new diesel pump fitted 5k miles ago pump and 6 months prior to vehicle starting to run rough, hence trip to previous garage for repair.
we are not sure how these tools companies are arriving at the measurements. we have seen a sealey adaptor kit for ford mazda PSA (VSE 3152) but not sure if this kit has the correct glow plug adaptor in it. any help or ideas would be appreciated

some typical sizes for adaptors but where or how the measurements are taken who knows !!!
