Just an update, thanks for input.
Today I went to a local car pitch and took a capture of the throttle closing.
The car is a BMW 330d 2007 (with no codes)
I thought I was going to see some big differences in the current draw. So I was suprised to see that both of the BMW captures are identical.
The first capture is the donor BMW and the second is both BMW current traces over laid
Donor BMW full trace
Donor BMW- pink/ Problem BMW- gold
(CAPTURE IS IN NEXT POST)
I do not think there is enough difference to set a code due to a circuit problem??
The car is coming back in tomorrow for me to repair the intake leak and replace cylinder 5 glow plug.
I am thinking maybe the intake leak is causing the code after all.
I am going to scope the crank sensor and pressure sensor(if it has 1) before and after I repair the intake leak. It would be nice to know what was setting the code if it fixes it.
My local dealer has told me there is no adaption or calibration for the throttle body and it is plug and play, can anybody confirm this please?
cheers
James
