Recovered van as non-runner. Found to be out of fuel. Replenish fuel, bled system, started and ran.
Van was booked in for service anyway. Reversed onto ramp 2 hours after getting it started.
Carried out 108k service, new fuel filter(Purflux)
bled fuel, started and ran. Van was moved of ramp,
discussed with technician abour carrying out brake efficiency checks on brake tester to see what bearing rusty rear discs would have.
Techie reversed back, checked fronts, reversed it back further. Switched off, checked and topped up engine oil. Then it would not start.
Checked filter installation,by passed filter unit.It will start with a sniff, but stops without it.
Fuel rail pressure cranking is 298-305 bar. Noide
lights on injector multiplugs show pulse. No evidence of leak back with pipe disconnected off injector return, but does leak back from pump.
Had a guy in(Airbagman)with Renault clip.No codes,
Cranking speed 298 rpm. Would not show injector pulse(but think noide lights confirms this). But it show Glow Plugs deactivated. Got 12 volts @ plugs. Disconnect any component, faults are logged.
Anyone able to throw any light on some hidden
known fault/quirk with these please ?
Thanks
Phil
