Had a chance to re visit the Focus with Ford IDS today, same codes stored with similar descriptions.





Was unable to locate any short with injectors or circuit so decided to look up the software version installed in the PCM

IDS listed there was a fix for invalid DTCs




Re-programmed the PCM with the latest Software and was then able to clear all codes from PCM

Vehicle then started on the button and run Sweet with no returning codes

Can’t believe that this is a permanent fix,
as one of the many garages this vehicle visited last year was a Ford main dealer that told the customer it was a faulty ECU

Need to do more road testing...
