I am in the middle of changing one of these engines I could,nt find one anywhere the customer found one it was supposed to be out of an 08 vehicle we have had to change everything over including swapping sumps and having to modify the oil pick up it has turned out to be a nightmare . regarding your engine I would,nt try to repair it the oil pump alone is over £1100 I have a v/w guy he has changed one and said he would never do another .
