Hi David,
Yes it's vacuum operated, after posting this I read on another web-site that fault code P1815 is wrongly described by some aftermarket diagnostic equipment.
So the control solenoid valve was swapped, but fault code still there
It comes back without the engine being started, I am beginning to think the ECU may be at fault.
