I have a real ball braker here. The above vehicle was towed in last week.
The customer started it without a problem one morning and drove for about 20 mls, stopped for about an hour and when he went to start it again "Nothing" It turned over fine but wouldn't start. I got the usual Renault glow plug code and an intermittent cam sensor fault. I replaced both cam and crank seensor and still nothing.
Replaced high pressure pump as i thought fuel pressure was a bit on the low side (i had one anyway that i knew was good) and when i was down that far i replaced the timing belt water pump ect as it was due one anyway, but still no start. I had other diagnostic software on it and everything shows up fine, in other words it should start but won't. If i spray it with easy start it will run but not without it. There is also fresh fuel in the tank.
Am I missing something here ? I'm ready to slit my wrist so any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Dominic
