customer reports the orange exclamation warning lamp flashes and loss of power.
fault codes set for p0380 glow plug control circit A the glow pugs have been removed and bench tested they glow up nicley within 5 seconds all the same
have tested fuel filter heater circit through relay and heater itself working correctly.
engine, air and fuel temp sensors are not dropping out during warm up and seem to be returning a good clean signal.
the injectors have NOT been removed though i was thinking about carrying out spill test though assesability looks to be a little aukward.
does anyone have any sugestions as to spill test method without disturbing too much and wondering about scoping the fuel pressure sensor to detect fuel pressure drop on the rail in time with a faulty injector ie too much spill = drop in fuel pressure.
reading through the archive there seem to be alot of injector problems cused by cleaning/removing so im a bit worried about distubing them and the spills look like they are going to be challenging to get to.
the fault is also intermittent and could not get to replicate it on road test.
