The customer complain the I wouldn't change up through the gears, and a MIL was on.
I drove the car, and Yes the Car would in fact stay in first gear.
I plugged my Solus pro up to it, and the following error code was present, P2203. The solus Pro's description for this fault code was, speed sensor 3 is faulty.
I checked the live data, and it was in emergency running, and The target gear, and actual gear was implausible.
I cleared the fault codes, and everything went back to ok. I thought maybe a sensor got wet, and dried out, but a week later the same has happened.
My next step is to check the suspect component, the thing is I haven't a clue where it is.
I have checked auto data and as always the fault code description is different. It says, Fault description, Nitrogen oxides (nox) sensor, bank 1-high input.
Auto data doesn't show either of the mentioned sensors in component locations, or wiring diagrams, I don't really want to just go at the car blind guessing components.
I think I've given all the correct details.
Has anyone come accross such problems, or the same fault code, are the solus pro and autodata's fault code description mean the same, are they on about the same sensor, and where is it located.
