Hi all
could do with a little bit of advice this car has come to me from a friends garage lack of power and blue smoke he has fitted an egr valve but still no better I scoped afm and signal was very low only peaking at approx 2.8volts by unplugging the sensor it seems to rev and drive better still a bit of blue smoke but goes ok so I decided to replace maf but still no better I have been hacking my brain to try and work out what could affect air flow, swirl flaps not fitted to this vehicle and can't see any sort of intake flap, mechanically I feel the engine is ok as unplugging maf makes it ok I'm going to make sure exhaust isn't partially blocked tommorow and I have also smoked inlet and no leaks found, turbo is a mechanical type and boost to 8 psi with maf plugged in and 10psi with it unplugged map sensor and number3 injector look new but neither me nor my pals garage have changed them so maybe it's been somewhere we don't no about.
