I have got in a 2005 (55 plate) Renault Scenic, 1.9 dci, i went out to it about a fortnight ago for a code reading, it came up with P0487 EGR system - throttle position control system malfunction. I cleared it but came back on following day, the car itself drives fine customer not complained of lack of power etc.
I've been reading up on the net and there is quite mixed opinions about this. some say egr valve fault some say throttle pedal. Has anyone else came across this???
I have cleaned egr valve and piping but it wasn't too bad.
