Have you done a compression test or if you have a scope, maybe a relative compression test? What amps are being drawn? Did you inspect the whole circumference of the ring gear? Do you have any method for reading RPM while cranking? Does it start easily with a push or tow? Engine code may also help you to get more ideas from members. Sorry for lots of questions but they are all things I would be asking, and maybe more, if I was doing the job.
