hi all finally got planet to communicate with vehicle had to tell planet it was a 406R whatever that may be .anyway it communicated with all systems but did not give up any fault codes.using planet we could access live data from the modules and activate components through the bsi to rule that out.when reading live data from the aircon controller we noticed that a high pressure switch was constantly active and we knew the pressures should be ok cos we had just had it regassed.disconnecting the switch left the high pressure now inactive but the low pressure switch active.we ordered a new high/low pressure switch fitted it yesterday and fan works normally and aircon comp pulls in and out.hopefully fait accompli as the french say .thanks for all replies as always much appreciated regards paul
