Hi all this A3 came in on a truck. It would start and run for a few seconds and cut out.
A full scan came back with no Com's to or from the instrument cluster and the immobiliser. I scoped the can-bus and found a faulty connection on the can high to the cluster.However after the repair and scoping to test the can bus still no comms.The cluster has been sent for repair and i,m told the board was fried and has been replaced. Unfortunately all data has been lost and i need to know if i will be able to re-code the instrument cluster and immobilizer when i get it back tomorrow. If so can anyone tell me how to retrieve the immobilizer code from the ecm and the procedure to code the immobilizer and inst. cluster.
