Just interested if any results on these, I have a focus DI with same issues.

Intermittent cutting out when driving, will re start. logged codes 216 injection timing control, 404 EGR control circuit, 1563 Injection pump requesting stop. 335 Crank sensor circuit. These are codes that came back after a fault occurrence.

Interestingly tried unplugging Crank sensor at idle and it logged faults 1666 injection pump sync, 167 o2 sensor , 1564 injection pump request reduced fuel and again 335 crank sensor,

Could his just be a crank sensor issue ?

had a good look round for damaged wires, but looks OK
