Thanks John, worked quite late tonight, just got home! Unfortunately I didnt get much more done on the focus, I did try just loosening the exhaust, but it just seemed to sound as if it went better! More noise, no more go! Just before leaving work I also removed the turbo hose going to the manifold by the EGR valve, I know it all gets a bit grubby in there but I was interested to see a build up of crud in some places up to maybe 1cm thick, I wonder if this is really bad inside the manifold where you cant see, if its stopping the beast from breathing? Will look again tommorow, Ta, phrom fil
