No comms with engine ecu.
Customer reported intermittent failure to start getting steadily worse, now will not run at all.
Pump doesnt prime when ignition switched on, no management lamp, and cooling fan keeps coming on and off with KOEO.
Most other modules have fault codes for "no communicaton with engine ecu".
Checked feeds and earths off AD wiring diagram, and all seem to be present. Feeds come to ecu via ignition relays so would say they are working.
2.5 volts on the can lines at the ecu plug so canbus seems in tact too.

Anyone come across this fault on the MK 5?

Suspecting ecu from results I have gathered so far, but with customer saying it has been intermittent before hand it puts doubt in my mind.
If the ecu was at fault I would have expected it to go altogether.
