Should be a VP pump Rover/MG ran two systems one Bosch the other Mems but both with VP pump, try reading the pump codes with kts and PSG lead if you have one or access to one i suspect that is a pump failure quite a common problem it is usually the internal ribbon that fails.
KTS will not read the Mems system but SS11 will read both as will Snap on kit, but only Bosch for the pump, even T4 will not do this.
