Year of Manufacture *: 1998 S reg Engine Code or CC *: RHZ 2.0HDI ( Optional ) ECU Type: Bosch EDC15C2 ( Optional ) Scanner Used: Sykes ACR4
Vehicle had cut out. Had been low on fuel and filled up, asked but assured that he not put wrong fuel in. Did start but only on tick over, tested on components and got 368+bar fuel pressure, but cut out again. Fault codes 1112 and 1138. It has had a new intank fuel pump, hp fuel soleniod at back of hp pump, fuel rail pressure sensor, all fuel lines have been cleaned and blown out, wiring on engine ok. With ignition on 11.4v on pump prime at cranking drops to 8v, fuel pressure before fuel filter, after fuel filter after hp pump and on to the injector 1.5 bar, only on cranking does it go to 7bar, injector leak off pipes removed and on cranking no fuel over flow Have been informed that new intank pump should be at 3bar pressure for it to get rest of system activated. It is a new Bosch intank pump but could a open/faulty high pressure pump cause pressure loss in system. Can anybody give any help!!
