If you just rejoined the wires it'll be back.
I repair by making the joint so that the new wire goes back towards the A-pillar connector and then makes a U-turn towards the door where I cut the original wire back so that the splice is in an area of no flexing. I also use a heavy duty meter test lead which is incredibly flexible. The cable is expensive but I quite simply don't ever get them coming back. I'll see if I can find some pictures.
