Yellow printed brownware question Posted by Graham Fox on April 22, 2025, 2:26 pm Hello, I have recently bought a ypb jug that I cannot find any image or information on, I am wondering if anyone is able to help or advise? I think it’s about 1820 but all similar ones are Chinese scenes, this is a nice hunting scene, the horn is not the straight one I normally see and the hounds are not quite the same as the ones I have seen where I live. Any advice appreciated Regards Graham

It looks like a Staffordshire pottery jug to me. I was able to find the same exact scene but in blue transferware/pearlware c.1830 Hope this helps - D.
