I found the Flaxman reference but did not know that he did the other images used for the Greek pattern. I have a facsimile of the Hamilton book and didn’t see this image there (yet!). It is great to understand that there is a link.

Is red and black the correct name for this colorway? It is decidedly red on the rim but the interior bits look more orange/terracotta.
