Two plates, the one with the black transfer measuring 10.5 inches, the blue one 9.475 inches. Both bear a central design of radiating spears, and shields (per the pattern name) that resemble bottle caps. Though not seen on either of these examples the pattern has been seen with an impressed Alcock beehive mark. It was also printed in pink. No reference to this pattern has yet been located.
Can you tell us more of the site? Is it historical, such as a building/plantation? Archaeological? Where are you finding the pieces? Is the example you show from the site, or a purchase based on sherds/fragments you have found?
