I recently purchased this plate at a local antique store and have spent hours on the database and the open web trying to identify it. The border looks identical to some produced by Enoch Wood, none of the searches in the Wedgwood, Josiah Wedgwood, Wedgwood & Co categories comes up with anything similar.

Did Enoch Wood produce pieces for Wedgwood? Would they lend him their mark and why?

And the architecture on the image has me really stumped.

Any hints would be appreciated, it's fascinating!
