This is a lovely cheese dish with a bright, pleasing pattern and details such as the gadrooning on the edge of the base.
The mark is #266 in Copeland's Spode & Copeland Marks 2nd edition 1977, p. 172. The dates for its usage are just what you give. The registered number 180288 & England which was registered on 11 Sept 1894 is for this trade mark and not for the pattern or design on which it occurs. You show no hand-painted pattern number on the underside of the piece. Copeland produced many thousands of patterns each year with no name on the printed mark, that we usually rely on the painted pattern number for identification. That is the only identification you can expect to find on lovely patterns such as this one. I'm sorry that I can't provide any more information. Thank you for contacting us! Enjoy your lovely piece.
