However this floral image does not match with floral design on the plate with the Davenport 101-139 Davflower vase mark (in the database). I have searched the database for similar floral images to no avail.
Since the floral design is opposite the Davenport mark i.e. on the reverse side, the floral design should be centrally positioned on the plate.
The shard appears to have come from a dinner service that arrived in Australia by 1839, based on the few shards still existing.
URLs of the images of the Davenport mark and of the floral decoration for memberís consideration are below. Or do we have another unnamed floral design by Davenport?
I seek a name for the design.
