I have posted more photos of my pattern, one showing the mark on the back. In my set of six pieces, that plate is the only one that has crazing and a brown patina. The others are off white, and then the dish also pictured, is a brighter white, and has the pierced handles accented with gold. The only mark on it is a small stamped "PB". Because of those differences, I thought it might be a reproduction.
I also noticed a flaw or tear in the pattern, which must have happened in the application process, because it is glazed over. Is that the sign of a reproduction or just simply not well done, and of poorer quality?
Best,
Janet
