I've got a Ridgway sauce tureen with a blue floral pattern and gilding, and have seen a ewer or jug with substantial gilding though that was more in the way of a presentation piece (dated 1828). When I looked for gilded items in the database most of the early pieces were floral or chinoiseries. Spode did a number of them and so did Mason. But it doesn't seem to have been very commonplace till later in the century.
