The liquid from the balloon burned with a nice blue flame, and it also rapidly evaporated (from the concrete floor)... exactly like alcohol would do. Was it a hoax? Yep. But, are they also looking for money to continue their "research"? If so, it's closer to being a fraud. As you undoubtedly already know, alcohol burns at a comparatively cool temperature - one of the reasons it's used in alcohol fueled racing engines. Play a bit with alcohol and you should easily be able to duplicate the ballon trick shown in the clip. Heck, I've placed a pool of alcohol in the palm of my hand and ignited it - the evaporation keeps it cool enough to literally hold a buring flame in your hand. Don't bother with the battery connections to the balloon trick though - this farce is not necessary if you start out using alcohol as the fluid in the balloon in the first place... :^) In the clip, Sol Millin has an interesting view of "real science" which appears to sound more like a real religion of some kind. He also sounds suspiciously like a number of other folks who are trying to sell folks (or potential "donors") on their pet free energy devices. Many of these folks (at least in the US) mix science, religion, evil corporations or evil government, mysticism, and a major dose of conspiracy theory to weave an interesting story line. Such as Joseph Newman's motor (and the evil US Patent Office), Dennis Lee's Better World Technology scams, etc...). Just remember to hang onto your wallet when treading in these waters - there be sharks out there, Jerry. I wish you luck trying to duplicate the "results" shown in the clip. Best wishes, Bert
