: Here's the deal. I am trying to wire a GFI, a light over the vanity
: &
: a ceiling ventfan/light all in one box.
: I have the black wire & the white wire from the power wire coming
: from the panel connected to the line side of the GFI. now how do I go
: about connecting the black from the load side of GFI to the other two
: switches. Do I pigtail and if so could you send me a little schematic?
: PLEASE HELP
: :
: Hi Patti,
: This is a Tesla Coil and High Voltage message board, so your question is
: a bit off topic. However, you do sound a bit desperate, so we'll give it
: a shot. Connect the hot LOAD terminal of the GFI to one side of each
: switch (pigtailing them). Connect the other terminal of each switch to
: the hot side of the light and fan respectively. Connect the other
: (neutral) side of the fan and light to the neutral LOAD terminal of the
: GFI. This permits both the fan and vanity light to be protected by the
: single GFI.
: Good luck and be very careful!
