tenrec behavior

I work with 3 lesser hedgehog tenrecs, and have been observing behaviors in one that the others don't exhibit. I am hoping to get some feedback on how common these behaviors are. The tenrec in question ("J") is 5 months of age and as yet unsexed. J experiences muscle tremors and looks like he/she is shivering. This was first observed coinciding with being handled, but we have since seen J doing this with no prior interaction. A veterinary exam has ruled out any obvious physical problem. J has also been climbing into her water dish and spending time soaking. In your experiences, is this normal for a tenrec? We have not seen our other two do this, and we have had our older male for quite a long time. Any responses would be greatly appreciated.
