hysterectomy

Looks like I'm going to have a hysterectomy. My menopause was chemo induced 6 years ago. I started spotting and had test done (see other post) all test came back normal, but I'm still having very light cycles. My oncologist told me from the beginning that my cycle could come back since I was diagnosed at 45 and was still having a cycle. I kind of believe that's what happened but all of my blood work show that I'm post menopausal. Apparently, there's a hormone that should be present if you are having a cycle. I'm missing that - I had them do it twice at different times of the month - and that hormone is missing. My gyn first suggested progesterone. My breast cancer was triple negative but the path report showed a very small amount of progesterone...enough for me to not want to take the progesterone but not enough for the professionals to be concerned with it and to call my bc type triple negative (hope that make sense). Anyway, the gyn says the only other suggestion is a hysterectomy. Not really happy about another surgery but I'm not concerned with removing parts that aren't working anymore anyway and could be potentially causing a problem later on since I'm having a cycle that the pros are telling me I shouldn't be having. Thank you guys for listening!
