The reason that's not affecting him in the polls right now is simply because a majority of the republican base, especially the males, are flaming hair-on-fire douchebags themselves, and Trump is their guy.

I really hope Trump and Hillary wind up being their party's nominees. Given Trump's proven inability to exercise self control for any length of time, it will be impossible for him to resist making some horribly misogynistic comment about Hillary during the course of the campaign, thus alienating most female voters (52% of the electorate).
