But nonetheless, he continues to LEAD in most polls.
And astute observers will notice a change in Trump's strategy -
Now he's Mr. Nice Guy all of a sudden.
Carly Fiorina is not the woman with "that [horrible] face" - now she's got a lovely face and is "a beautiful woman" according to Trump at last GOP debate.
And upon receiving news of Scott Walker's throwing in the towel, Trump praised Walker as a "good man" and wished him the best.
A far cry from earlier in the campaign when Trump RIPPED Walker a 'new one' and pointed out repeatedly how he had essentially ruined Wisconsin !!
TRUMP and his team know that now that he has a commanding lead, he must not only KEEP IT, but consolidate it to fend of any future GOP challengers (like Rubio) and in anticipation of taking on a strong Democratic contender (which could be Hillary or BIDEN, who's polling strongly with Democrats even though he's yet to enter the race).
So Trump has toned down (slightly) some of his rhetoric for now. How long he can go before he PUTS HIS FOOT IN HIS MOUTH again is anyone's guess.
