Re: Air Show---a bullet hole
Our town was the home of the Confederate Air Force, all run by former pilots of various wars. There was the annual air show, either Blue Angles or Thunderbirds came each time. We actually kinda enjoyed the change, Both would come a day or two before the weekend performances to practice. The airport was on the edge of town so we all got a nice show, even if we didn't buy a ticket to the actual shows of the weekend. Page down. Tennessee Ernie Ford was the announcer for all the shows til he got too old I guess. Eventually the CAF had to move to West TX as as the airport needed the room to build hangars. It is an international airport now.
