We used to have a small planes type air show every year at the small airport in my county. Al would always take Hunter. One time they both went to the small town about 7 miles from us to a summer celebration. You drive through the country to get there. When he got home there was a bullet hole right through the metal of the truck. Picture in your mind the back window and on the left just past the window was the hole. Over to the right about 3" and they would have shot Al in the head. The county sheriff came and looked at it and talked to Al about it.

Many years ago a famous lady golfer was walking out of a shopping center in Warren Ohio on her way to her car. All of a sudden a bullet struck her arm. They thought maybe she had been targeted. Later my niece's husband came forward and told them he was target practicing in his back yard and missed the target. His bullet traveled 2 miles and stuck her. Because he came forward there were no charges against him. But he learned a lesson. He could have killed her. Bullets travel much farther than the average person realizes.
