This has broken my heart since the day I heard about it. You and Mike are such wonderful, loving people and so deserving of his love. I am so sorry this has gone on for so long.

My husbands sister had a very loving son with the same problem only he would sneak over to visit her. When they had 3 babies, he'd manage to sneak them by her house to let her see them, until they were old enough to tell their Mom. His wife died very young from an undiagnosed heart disease.

I never understood why he allowed her to control his family like this.But when she died, they were young teens. They loved their dad dearly but it took a while to accept their grandma from the things they had been told.

After a couple of years they all made peace and came to love her dearly. He died of a heart attack in his late 30's. Grandma was there to comfort and love them. They developed a close relationship with
until she died a few months ago.
