getting old"
I hear you, Mickey. Same here! I think its easier on us if we just accept, we are getting older and can't do the things we used to.My back has been my main reason I practically live in my recliner. ( Fell out of a car at 50 mph and did a lot of damage to my spine. Thank God, I had a lot of good years before it got this bad. I use a walker to get to the bathroom and still have to sit down often. I've learned to just accept the fact that unless I get a miraculous healing from God, this is my life. I'm not going to complain because I know things could be worse.I'm not confined to a wheelchair, I can still move around with my walker, can't stand long enough to cook a big meal but I can sit at my table with my induction plate and cook what I need or use the trusty microwave. And I order out often. My son helps out but with his leg, and working 10 hrs a day, I'd rather do things myself if possible. Just accept that there will be things you can no longer do and ask your family for help when you can't do something.
