whether that be upgrading the coaching staff, manager, players, the bogs in the south stand etc. Not doing so is negligent as it will most likely lead to regression, as our peers will most certainly look to progress.
Does David Moyes guarantee stability? Does he guarantee that mid table utopia so many of our PTSD suffering fans crave? He didn't at Sunderland. He didn't at West Ham. It took a while for Sunderland to recover from the Moyes experience. And West Ham are now likely going to be relegated, less that 2 years after he left the club.
Moyes has one year left on his contract. Is that stability? From what he achieved last season, Moyes has gone backwards and that's having spent around £150 million the squad. And only losing Doucoure and Harrison from the first 11. Players he upgraded with Grealish and KDH.
All things considered and given Angus Kinnears previous with Iraola, i'll be surprised if Iraloa hasn't at least been contacted.

opportunities squandered, maybe the squad is 10th best or so - fair enough
but it would be nice to over achieve a little, we've wasted a season
I like David Moyes, I think he was absolutely the right person to come back in last year, and when he came back he had a spark about him - but its gone.
But I dont think he is the right man to take us forward
Its not about impatience
Its 30 years of winning fuck all
Its mediocrity
Its going out of cups early without effort - and without the manager seemingly being arsed
Its the refusal to adapt to the modern game and utilise subs
Its going to be hard to replicate our away results next season, which means we'll have to improve massively at home or we'll be back hovering around 15th
I'm not saying bring back Martinez, but god it was good to play without fear for a while
I dont buy into the idea we've played good football this season, we havent. Its just been better than most of the last 3 seasons.
43.6% possession average
Only Wolves, West Ham, Burnley are below us
Even Newcastle have gone above us and they've been shite
best we can hope for next season, is not to be in a relegation battle
wahooo
if next season goes like this we'll be seeing gates closer to 40k than 50k in 12months
'its a two summer project'
its not
its fucking football
its not that complicated
give us a new manager, with a bit of something.
thanks Moyesy, forever a place in history and hearts, but step aside
lets have a fresh outlook and approach
Newsflash, if we beat spurs 4-0, its still a season of missed opportunity - yes there have been some bad decisions against us, but we've also frozen at key times and played with fear - and it comes from the manager, from the approach.
I cant face another season of being a goal down after 70mins and so the answer is Beto for Barry or Barry for Beto
thats genuinely fucking pathetic that its our only plan B
If we fill the squad with a load of 29yr olds+ in the summer, we'll be fucked in 2-3 years, and needing another couple of barren years to dig ourselves out.
Bring me fearlessness, bring me bravery, bring me hope
Be proactive not reactive or passive
We were just starting to look like it could turn with Chelsea, but since then its been shite
last 6 games we are 17th on form
last 12 games we are 16th on form
read that again
last 12 games we are 16th on form
If that was Dyche, I'd be saying get shut, and so would many many others.
Not 'its a 2 summer project'
Time to go Davey
I'm 51.
We've been patient since 1995
They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time, it works every time.![]()
