But the whole point of Moyes not playing younger players is that he will often overlook younger players to play other players out of position. And he'll often play older players out of form instead of playing younger players who have shown ability in the limited time they have already had.
Can everyone please stop jumping to the defence of a multi millionaire football manager as soon as someone says something remotely critical of him. Its embarrassing.

I'd try and send him there on loan for the year. He's clearly nowhere near a starter for Moyes and needs regular game time at that age to keep developing.
He'd be comfortable back "home" and it'd be another year in the Premier League under his belt.
No idea if Southampton would want him, but it would be a win all round I think given the circumstances.
