Liverpool v Everton ladies

I’m heading home to Liverpool this weekend, for a short trip. Bad planning on my part, with this being an international break. I see that the ladies derby is on Saturday, and if it was at Goodison or WHP, I would be all over that. I really enjoy women’s football, and coached AYSO u19’s for 8 years. Question is, will Anfield crowd be as awful for a women’s game as it is for the men’s? Should I try to get a ticket or give it a swerve? Anyone with experience of the women’s game have any insight?

- It's a derby so it's combative, but the crowds at women's games are not as hostile. nt - Mr Resistor September 3, 2025, 5:33 pm
