We used to go to games together back in the late 70’s and early eighties. He was on the Gwladys St with me when Latchford scored his 30th.
Might look like a pair of pervy old men, so our cover story is going to be scouting for US colleges 😁

The standards are getting higher and higher every season and WSL games especially are very enjoyable games.
Should be a close game and Everton have really invested in the squad over the summer too so should be good measure as to how well they’re bedding in.
The crowds are very family orientated and family friendly.

I’m heading home to Liverpool this weekend, for a short trip. Bad planning on my part, with this being an international break.
I see that the ladies derby is on Saturday, and if it was at Goodison or WHP, I would be all over that. I really enjoy women’s football, and coached AYSO u19’s for 8 years.
Question is, will Anfield crowd be as awful for a women’s game as it is for the men’s? Should I try to get a ticket or give it a swerve? Anyone with experience of the women’s game have any insight?
