After 189 votes were cast, David Moyes has recorded a satisfaction rating of 7.38. While another solid return, this is actually a drop in support of 0.43 points from where he finished last season, and continues a downtrend from the point where he had secured safety from relegation in record time.
As I stated when posting the poll, it's debateable how much influence Moyes has over our transfer business apart from perhaps giving nods of approval or thumbs down to potential targets, so it's interesting that his support has changed without much in the way of a ball being kicked in anger over the past few months, but this is why I like to poll before the real business of the season starts.
With Everton notoriously slow starters due to their regular inability to finalise key first team positions until the end of the transfer window, can Moyes buck the trend and see us top half by October or will the relatively forgiving opening fixtures on paper come too soon to take advantage? We are about to find out ...
Haven't checked when the international breaks fall later this year. The first one will be too soon so I'm unclear when the next poll will be, but it should be Oct or November.
