...that could well encourage other talented players to join "the project" that we might think we have no chance of getting (and I suspect Grealish would have been firmly in that category for most Blues a few months ago). I think he will be a good fit for us on and off the pitch with his Villa roots, and that our fans will love him.

The only issue that I might have with it right now would be if the financial undertakings restricted our ability to bring in other players in key positions, but I trust that the recruitment are fully aware of the numbers and the availability of players that would improve the squad, so let's see what happens by September 2nd.
