started out with hope that we would at least avoid another relegation scrap, 4 straight defeats made that doubtful. With the new owners in and Moyes instigating an astonishing turnaround in results and performances from a group of players that looked incapable of achieving them in the first half of the season, the outlook now seems more positive and more sustainable than it has done than at any time probably this century at least - even in Moyes' first spell he was operating with one hand tied behind his back, and the less said about the Moshiri years the better.

There seems genuine hope for the future now.
